Beautiful shot. I feel it is the closest I have ever been to a raccoon. The detail…fur, paw, nails, eyes, whiskers…just great.

F/L How wonderful! This is one handsome raccoon:>) Ours came out last night and ate the birds' suet. Now the rain is pouring down so they will, most probably stay in bed tonight - LOL. You are so lucky to see them in the daytime! Great shot:>)

Thanks so much Mother Nature! I am indeed very lucky! I remember as a child begging my mother to wake me up to see the Raccoons at our summer cottage and she never wanted to disturb my sleep. I am making up for lost time. :-)
