Thanks Fraida. I swear I kept seeing the same mantis along a path for about 2 or 3 days. At first she stood her ground and I coaxed her into the grasses where she wouldn't be trampled by joggers but, of course, I harassed her with my paparazzi actions. Then the next day at the same place she saw me and hesitated. The third time she took one look at me and tried to high-tail it out of there. I tried not to take it personally. LOL.
