Description
This small, delicate duck was in a pond full of Mallards (that suddenly looked gigantic in comparison!). I was lucky to get this shot of her lovely blue feathers as most times they were well hidden beneath the brown feathers.

Good shot Doris. It is interesting to see the teal. It puzzles me why the people who name birds so often name them after a color that is rarely visible, but I suppose that is what distinguishes them from other birds.
