Description
Although this fox walked right up to where I was sitting on a bench in an urban park, he whirled around when he heard my shutter click. After I told him how much I loved him (I always whisper such endearments to foxes), he relaxed, stayed a few seconds and then trotted away. :-)

Such an awesome capture Doris, the dynamic body position really says, "I'm gonna run but if you're quick you can take that picture"
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Donna. I think you are right. He was caught by surprise (me too!) but was gracious enough to allow this picture.

Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Kathy - I was hoping you would like it. I think the foxes understand at some level when I tell them I love them. Just like my cats get all dreamy-eyed when I tell them they are pretty. :-)

love this shot, very nice. he does look a little mean in this shot. great capture !!!
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Steve. His look may suggest that but he was anything but. I don't think he saw me and then was startled.
