Thanks Carol. I love snowy faces. :-) I had the same experience here when suddenly there were hardly any raccoons in a place usually abundant in them. I think it was distemper. Very sad.

Thanks Lois! Four of the young raccoons came down the tree to forage on the ground and since there had been a substantial snowfall, their little snouts were covered in the soft powdery snow! This one happened to look at the camera and voilą. :-)
