Description
This dragonfly has crawled out of the water as a nymph and up the stem of a plant. The nymph then shed its skin (the exuvia) as seen on the left side and the newly emerged dragonfly is clinging to the right side. I watched it for close to an hour as its wings began to unfold and dry.
