Description
I have had this identified as a Curve-toothed Geometer Moth by www.butterfliesandmoths.org. I passed it on a woodland trail and it caught my eye but I figured it was a fallen leaf. Something drew me back to it and it was only upon close inspection that I saw it was a moth. I find the tattered wings even add more to the illusion of a dead, withered leaf.
