V/F Just like the spring wildflowers, these guys are another harbinger of nice weather. I'm glad you have them, too - aren't they beautiful!

Thanks Carol. Yes, they are beautiful and really cheer me up in the early spring. Today I saw a Red Admiral so that was exciting too!

Hi April. I just looked up their range and read " All of North America south of the tundra to central Mexico; rarely in the Gulf States and peninsular Florida." Maybe you will find a rare one! I hope so.
