Love this image, I've seen the crows harass the Hawks a lot, they gang up and stay right on the Hawk cawing loudly they make quite the raucous!
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks so much. Yes, I have used cawing crows to help me find hawks and owls and even foxes.

awesome shot, Doris. But where in the world were you standing so carefully? You amaze me time after time. vote and like
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Lori. I know it looks like I am in mid-air or something but I am right on the edge of the canyon (with others). It wasn't too precarious a position but you could lose your footing and so I quickly decided to sit for the duration of the shoot. (And of course, I had a long telephoto lens).

I like this one Doris ... you've caught the critters exhibiting their natural behaviors (instead of just a simple static shot). Well done.

How in the name of Heaven did you get this shot? Terrific! Vote & Fave:>)
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Carol. I was so excited when I saw the Condors (there were two) that I had to be careful of my footing! The Raven added to the drama.
