Description
These three raccoons show the facial marking variations that are exhibited by these animals. The one on the left has a pale vertical stripe running from the nose to the mask which then darkens on the forehead, the middle one's darker stripe seems to stop at the mask, and the one on the right has a wider, more reddish brown stripe. (The snow on the noses doesn't count. :-))

I am so in love with your raccoon family! Great picture, Doris - you can keep a scrapbook on them as they grow up (just like babies). V/F

Thanks Carol - me too! They would be great subjects for a scrapbook. Right now I am sick with a virus and can't go to see them. I hope to get back soon!
