As I was walking along a city street to reach a nature park I heard loud tapping and saw this beauty on a tree in front of a house! You never know when wildlife will present itself! The red stripe extending from the beak identifies it as a male (I had to look that up AGAIN as I always forget. :-))
My passion is to express Nature's beauty through photography. I am self-taught and like things simple. Thus, photo manipulation is kept to a minimum.
