Description
I did something new today. I tried to think like a fox. While on a walk I saw a red blur cross a path to my left and disappear into the distance. I couldn't follow it immediately because I was on the "wrong" side of a small stream. Once I could find a place to get across the stream I walked in the general direction that the fox took. I walked for a few minutes and then surveyed the area. I asked myself, if I were a fox where would I go? Soon after I came to a place where underbrush had been cleared and tangles of roots and stumps were visible. Perhaps a place to hunt voles I thought. As I came around one side of the area, there was my fox! He was busy searching for prey. When he saw me he climbed up to some birch trees, stopped. turned around ... and I got this shot.

LOL ,yep where would i be to cool off if i were a frog? I have to be careful where i go here in the south , i could never just focus on stalking a subject without watching out for a snake or gator & keeping in mind we have wild boars ,we have 6 poisoness snakes to watch out for i always watch where i step. i try not to put my guard down & get careless .
