This Mallard walked around for quite some time sporting his leaf adornment as though it was perfectly normal to do so. I found it quite comical and thought I would post it for fun.

Wonderful shot Doris. Ducks see things a lot differently then human do. With their field of vision it's quit possible he did not even see the leaves. Their beak and feathers are much like our finger nails it's also quite possible he did not feel them. But very funny and interesting capture Doris. Much like a guy getting a static cling stuck to the back of his shirt when he's trying to look cool in front of the ladies.

Thanks Ken. Your analogy made me laugh. In fact a friend of mine told me recently that someone came up to her in a shopping mall to tell her that her car seat back support cushion (it is small and fastens with velcro) was stuck to her sweater. She had been shopping for quite some time like that! :-)
